Policy O-15
It is the policy of the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired to maintain safe and secure learning, living, and working areas for students, employees, contractors, volunteers, and visitors.
The ISBVI Board directs the ISBVI Superintendent to develop and implement an ISBVI safety and risk management program to include a safety committee, system of regular safety inspections, immediate correction and removal of hazards and dangers, and collaborative initiatives with the State Fire Marshall, local fire and emergency medical response agencies.
