Any employee or volunteer who plans any School Activity for students at the
Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is responsible for knowledge
of and compliance with the steps outlined in this procedure. Responsibility for
monitoring staff compliance with this procedure lies with the Division
Directors.
A School Activity is defined as any activity which occurs outside of the
routine classroom, dormitory, athletic, or recreational activities, or involves
one or more of the following: (a) Student travel off campus, (b) Use of a state
vehicle, (c) School or student funds, (d) Use of school facilities.
